Zoom Workshop 109: Begin with Pears: Intro to Draw Botanical Techniques

Level: All levels – especially beginners!
Botanical Subjects: Pears (Bosc, but any variety will do) + simple household objects (sphere and cone)

Any pear will do, but we will demonstrate drawing a Bosc Pear. (Beginners may want to bring a Bosc Pear to class so you can easily follow along using similar colors. If you can’t find a Bosc Pear (or have some drawing experience) bring any variety that inspires you!)

This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect starting point to explore the fundamentals of drawing with watercolor and colored pencil. Whether you’re new to botanical art or looking to build confidence, pears make the ideal subject to learn the essentials.
