I still feel like I need to do more work, but wanted to post for potential feedback. I am wondering if I need to tone a bit darker overall, and if I should darken the micro-viens . Yes, I used an embossing tool for those tiny details, and I am just thinking about my next move! The novice in my appreciates all the nice comments, but feel free to…[Read more]

It tends to blur the edges, and sometimes it might just bleed in one spot in a way that is hard to fix just by expanding the borders. I am making sure there…[Read more]

Thanks for all the nice feedback and comments. I will pay special attention to where the highlights and shadows fall. Having so many extra eyes is very helpful in knowing what to focus on in the next drawing!

Thank you for your feedback! I am using watercolor paper. I am still very novice with my use of color, so I think I really need a lot more practice to combine color with good toning. I will keep at it!

Thank you for the great feedback. I think I start out ok with the range of tones, but get a bit muddled the more color I add. I will start a new subject and practice some more, paying attention to those details.

I’m feeling a little stuck on this one. It seems the more I try to develop the multiple layers of color, the more it feels both over-worked and underdeveloped at the same time, and I don’t know how to redeem it.
