I still want to work on the bright yellow flowers/buds but am pretty happy with the result. I didn’t know they are toxic but did notice they don’t smell particularly nice. I don’t know if they are considered invasive in the UK. I used to have a plant in my garden but it didn’t do very well so I removed it too!

Yes, I know what you mean. I was surprised too. It was beuatiful and as far as I remember, I had never seen a pecan tree. Was only convinced when the locals told me and when I started finding pecan nuts all over the place. The pecan trees are everywhere and the locals have lots of stories about them.
