Love this Sheila!!!! I have been tempted to do it so many times when I wasn’t happy with certain parts of a drawing! Are you cutting them out with an exact knife? How are you attaching them to the page?
@doug Thanks, Doug. I used scissors. I have done a lot of fabric collage and got used to cutting things up :). The idea came back to me with the crabapple drawing that had a very unfortunate mess on one edge. That’s when the scissors came out! These aren’t glued down yet because I want to draw in the faint shadow they cast. I use an archival glue called Natural ph Adhesive by Lineco. I apply the glue with a flat, plastic letter opener. Holding the piece in place and slide the glue under. Moving the pieces around is really fun for me.
