Description

Instructors: Wendy, Vern, and Sam (and maybe some special guests)

Level: BEGINNER

Cost: $300

We were scheduled to have an in-person workshop at Hollengold Farm this weekend. Instead, we’ve decided to host a 3-day intensive Zoom workshop in honor of local farms everywhere. We’ll celebrate local farms by:

Including lots of “on the farm” bonus videos. You’ll see some footage of beautiful Hollengold Farm in summer. Maybe we’ll hang out in the solar pavilion or the pond pool. We’ll visit Tributary Farm and take an up-close look at what’s blooming and the morphology of the edible plants growing there.

We’ll choose demonstrations based on what’s available at our local farm.

We’ll auction off our demonstration pages and donate the proceeds to the local farm or farm organization of your choice.

How is this different from our other Zoom workshops?
3-day intensive; 10 total hours

More instructional time, more time for demonstrations that answer your questions.

We’ll try to create an atmosphere that’s as close as we can get to us being together at the farm. Maybe we’ll even cook something for our farm fresh lunch!

Subject: Composite flowers (zinnia, sunflower, dahlia); Support your local farmer; bring whatever subjects you can find (vegetables, tomatoes, etc).

THIS WORKSHOP IS FIVE SESSIONS LONG. Please attend ALL sessions! (if you are unable to attend, recordings will be provided)
