Lovely page here all around. Love your contour drawings on the graph paper! And your apple is excellent showing this view! Garlic could have just a couple of touches of dark accent for contrast!

Excellent job on your apple pattern. This is a very tricky view. Try another view that allows for an easier three dimensional view. Instead of looking down on your apple , position it so eye level is at the front of the apple!

You did a good job here! I think you are fine leaving the leaves in neutral tones. Looks great.

Thanks for posting! It is helpful to get feedback and share you work in progress. I think you are making excellent progress! You could even saturate color more to intensive your red color. I would next try a slightly larger fruit so you have a good amount of space to practice your smooth transition of tones! Keep it up!

Thanks for sending now add some tone to the shadow side of the hydrangea to make the whole flower head appear three dimensional! Enjoy your holiday!

Wow that apple is amazing!

Liked this feather better. Still, covering the entire feather with the yellow made the black a gray and it needed several layers to become close to black again. Therefore, I tried several patterns alternating yellow ans black.

Thought the ivy was too bright until I took this picture 🤣

Orchid roots much darker than I would have liked. I need to start much lighter than I did. And keeping the light source on the left was difficult with such small root. Need to keep sharpening the pencil!

Beautifully rendered! Left side always concerns me too because it is such a small area. You can still darken after your color if you don’t think it is deep enough.
