@maureenclare of course I thought of you. 🙂 My first ‘real’ attempt at lichen. As you can see, I chickened out and only did a tiny piece. (By the way, I was showing my mum and dad your instagram page when they were over yesterday, my mum absolutely adores your work too). 🙂

@doug-milne I’m sorry about the image not attaching… here it is again. I’ve been working on leaf drawing after Wendy’s tutorial video and have framed this for my husband. The contrast isn’t quite right… I always seem to have REALLY dark and REALLY light and it’s not quite natural, but I love this one anyway. 🙂 Feel free to give any improvement advice. 🙂

Thank you @maureenclare! I think some of the sparkle in that photo is the LED light reflecting off the pencil, but the rough paper helps too because a bit of light shines through. Have you been working on anything this week?

Oh my goodness Harriet!! I have just been drinking in all the details of your plant/insect drawings. This is phenomenal! When you mentioned them in the zoom meeting I was really hoping to see them, so thank you for sharing them here. Absolutely beautiful. I will study them closely to see if I can pick up any tricks. 🙂
