Emma, this is a fun composition with good structure and detail. The highlight on the whole tangerine (?) is great and well-placed. I think the thing that stands out to me most here are the cast shadows. Those could be a bit quieter and toned down, so they don’t create so much contrast on the edges of things. Also work on a smoother transition from dark to light on the whole orange. I can see sort of a line where the Dark Sepia ends and the orange begins. Try to smooth that out a bit more so it’s seamless. You can also use other grisaille colors besides Dark Sepia, like Earth Green, burnt ochre, venetian red, red violet, etc. I see that you have some other citrus posted, so I’ll go look at those. Great work!!
