Hi Helene! I have not seen a purple Asclepius before. The colors are very pleasing and the image is beautifully drawn. There are a couple of areas I would revisit. The stems in the background of the flower cluster on the right need more attention. Even if they are white (or a light color) they would be in shadow and need to be both shadow and form toned. Look at all the stems off each flower and bud to make sure how they connect is evident and makes sense. It is a little confusing at the moment. The leaves need more contrast. At the moment each leaf is too uniform in color and in need of a range of tones. For example, the face view of the leaf on the bottom left could use more dark toning. Generally a leaf has a dark side of the main vein and a light side of the main vein. With the leaf on the top right, I can not tell if it is just a side view of the leaf or if the top area of that leaf is actually the inner part of the leaf that is evident. Quite often the back side and front sides of leaves are different colors or shades. That may not be the case with this plant, but if it is, I would emphasize that more because now the two sides look the same. The leaf on the bottom right also needs more contrast and definition. The part of that leaf that curls up (may be a different color because it is the back of the leaf) should have more highlights. The inside view of the leaf should have more dark toning because it would have a lot of shadows, both from the curled up left side in addition to the cluster of flowers above it. You are almost there and I think these changes will help give it the contrast and definition it needs. Love seeing your work as always!
