I have taken an extended break from drawing. A lot of family events. But have enjoyed looking at everyone’s drawings and watching all the progress. Inspired by Lise who chose to start with a whole tree I decided to do
the same. I think my kousa dogwoods will be a fabulous subject for the yearlong challenge. They have a lot
going on all the time. Right now the tree bark is the most interesting thing. Mottled. One description I read compared it to a jigsaw puzzle.
