Hi Petra, Beautifully drawn twig! You have a nice cylindrical shape. It really pops off the page! Good job! The tonal exercise is also well done. My only comment would be that you want to be careful not to have directional lines. I’m seeing a distinct diagonal mark. Not such a big deal in an exercise, but when you tone a botanical subject to don’t want the ‘hand of the artist’ to distract from the actual surface details. I’m looking forward to seeing how you will complete the flower drawing on the right of the page!
