(anybody who has tried it has any suggestions about how and where to add in text ?
thanks for sharing, if so !
I am just loving the look of the pages with text that i saw in the webinar and
on this discussion board) View
I think the way the tree flows around the page in a clockwise fashion is very pleasing and will allow your text some balance too. I look forward to seeing that stage of the piece.
Nita, What type of paper do you use? Is it naturally that antique- like color, or do you use watercolor first to achieve that vintage look? It really gives your drawings a lovely quality.
Thank you so much, Carol !
I hope not to disappoint… my mom had a small persimmon tree in her garden as a girl,
it was her grandfather’s favourite fruit, and I thought only to write her memories at the feet of the tree…
Ahhh…. Eileen… it is not watercolour paper at all at all !!!
it is rather not advisable for watercolours !
in fact, it would completely buckle if i made a background.
It is a Claire Fontaine sketchbook I am trying to finish up !
“Ivoire, 90 g, 21 x 29,7 cm//cream 41lb”
SKETCH A4 100pages…
in fact, I can’t rework anything on this paper, no erase at all.
it is Very thin… but, yes…. a nice light ivory colour…(plus my house is, sigh, veyr dark!)
