I would keep practicing and perfecting the images. Notice the sharp, elongated “X” shape your leaf has compared to the soft curves of the actual leaf. The way it is toned, your leaf reads as if the left side is the underside of the leaf and the right side is the top, which is the reverse of the actual leaf.
