Photo in the group The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 8 years ago Theses jacaranda flowers are in large bunches, but I found a small branch I could reach. I’m not finished yet because I want to add leaves ( they’re just coming out) and the new seed pods that are green ( out in July?). Suggestions for now? Wasn’t sure how to show the tiny hairs on the pistil. It just looks fuzzy. I love seeing the jacaranda everywhere, but people wo have cars underneath them don’t appreciate the sticky flowers all over their cars!
