Photo in the group The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 5 years, 4 months ago Hi Shelia, I agree with Vern’s comment and would also mention that I wish the center of the apple where the stem is attached felt a bit more like a bigger indented cone shape area. It feels as if the stem is squished inside the apple. Does this make sense? Look at a real apple and see if you can understand what I mean. Small difference like this are really important. Also the apple is almost to perfect, and could use a bit more of a slightly irregular shape and toning. Never the less great job on color and highlight!
