I know this one is pretty busy but I wanted to show how the Oleander plant, despite having only small amounts of pollen and no nectar, acts as a host plant for the Common Crow butterfly. Caterpillars feed on the leaf sap , which is poisonous to birds and mammals, and stores the poison in their bodies, making them, in turn, poisonous to predators. The butterfly is poisonous also.
