Hi Gale- really nice job on this leaf! Your color selections and saturation are so good! You can see in the picture showing the real leaf all the conflicting light sources. The shadows are going every which way! Try to light the leaf as best you can with the correct light orientation being the strongest and minimize any other light sources. Once you get that corrected, the shadow could be a hair darker.
