Snuggled a bit with the leaves, first my veins were just way too wide so this is the second lot I have done. The top one on the left I know I need to refine my stylus skills! I also think I am too heavy handed with the sepia, suggestions please.
I think you did a beautiful job on the basil leaf, the heart-shaped leaf ( red bud?),
and the front of leaf. The sepia may be too dark in the middle, but on those 3 I’m interpreting it as a shadow where the leaf folds so I don’t think it’s a problem. The maple leaf is wonderful. I love the changes in color you’ve captured.
Hi Vanessa, I think you are making great progress on your leaves and veins! Sometimes in addition to making veins very thin and irregular you ca also vary the tones in the veining to help it feel more natural. Even when using an embossing tool you can go in with a sharp point and darker those slightly in spots. Give it a try.

Really love these! I’m partial to the gold leaf!
Thank you Liz.

Very nice rendition of the pillow lyrics parts on the basil.
Thank you so much Wendy! Will fix up the veins.
Thank you Patty.
