Hi Susan- your color selection and saturation are great! You also did a wonderful job capturing the tomato’s texture and their form! The one area I would revisit is the cast shadow. The cast shadow should be very dark at the tomato edge and then it fades as it moves away from the subject and ends up as the tone you have shown. Remember that the stem would also cast a shadow, probably both on the surface the tomatoes are sitting on and at least some of the tomatoes themselves. Great job!
Nice Susan, Such a happy drawing! It’s really lovely. The highlights are a little uniform. I wonder whether you would consider going back in and toning down the highlights on the tomatoes that are further away from the light source just an itty bitty bit. What do you think?

Thank you Doug. I’ll try the dark edge where the tomato touches the surface first and then try for a shadow from the stem.
