Nice job Beatrice. The area flanking the highlight should be lighter. The left edge should be a 3-4 on the tone scale and transition lighter as it moves right toward the highlight. I see a lot of texture which may be your paper and/or technique. Be sure to build up smooth, evenly toned layers.
