This is a good start Brittany. There are a couple of areas to revisit. The main highlight is too centered. It should shift over to the left a little. Since the left edge is closest to the light source it should only be a 3-4 on the tone scale as you did on the tone arc bar post. The darker side should be the right edge. I don’t know if I would be concerned about the reflected light yet, but if you want to keep it, it should not be as white as the main highlight. You can add color to it to tone it down and you can also blend it into the dark toning you are going to add so it appears to be a glow caused by a reflection. Reflected light is very challenging, but it is never too early to start practicing it. If your branch segment was very shiny than the strong white on your main highlight is okay. If it was not super shiny then you want to tone the highlight down by adding some color to it to soften it. Highlights will generally travel the length of the branch, maybe breaking where stems branch off, etc.. I hope this information helps!
