Thank you Doug. The bud was a real speciment while the flower came from Wendy’s course notes. I realized how the two perspectives can make a difference. I added the flower to try a composition of sorts. I learned a lot with this drawing.
Really nice twisting and curving of those petals and leaves. So many terrific details in this drawing. I especially like how you paid close attention to the part of the petiole that attached the leaf to the stem – one of those little details that makes this appear very realistic.
