Very nice, Constance! Your colors are looking much better and more saturated. Nice job on the highlights here, too! As you continue with more subjects, work more on your cast shadows. Here, they are reading very dark–I like the way your tones fade out into the paper, but that area right next to the tomatoes reads a little too dark and lacks that smooth transition. Beautiful work! Keep going! 🙂
Thank you for the advice. My cast shadows have bothered me; I know it’s something I need to work on. It is really nice to get to a point where I can look at my work and think “they will say this about it…”. I actually consider that an improvement I’m proud of! Really, thanks to everyone here who gives me such good advice.
