Hi Christina, Nice study! You have great control with your toning and a good eye for color. My comment would be that I think your highlight is a bit too big. It overwhelms the subject. I’d take it down to half that size. I would also move it slightly to the right, so it is in the top right corner. Also, I am confused with the area where the tomatoes meet. The reflective light seems correct, but the darker shadow on the surface seems off. Maybe it is the shape. Should curve more with the surface of the tomato. And maybe too dark. I notice you have yet to do a cast shadow. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do. I read Douglas’s suggestions, so know you have some good advice to follow.
