@darleneedith nice spheres! Good gradual toning on the blue one; maybe make that reflective highlight a little bit skinnier? The one on the grayscale sphere seems more realistic to me. Nice work!
I would make the reflective highlight on the blue sphere darker in value and also it is a bit to regular and straight. Think of reflective highlights as gradual lighter color and not such a sharp edge to them. Nice gradual toning on the spheres

Thanks Vern! I posted them because I felt the reflective highlight seemed off but not sure. A concept I am still trying to understand 😉
