I have almost finished the course and am starting again. I’ve been learning basics that everyone else seems to know and taking my time. Taking a lot of K-12 tutorials, learning to color, doing Zentangles to work on lines and perspective (plus they’re fun).. We’ll see how this second pass goes.
Great Bonny! A couple of things to consider with this tone bar. A good way to start is to think of #5 as being half way so it should be half as dark as #9. I would say that is closer to your #7. Once you have the lightest , the darkest and the half way square established, then it is easier to know what to do with the other squares. Currently, there is not much difference in the lighter tone squares. I hope this helps.
I’m also taking a 6th grade art course where I’m learning so many things I never was exposed to. It’s HARD! Lately I’ve been drawing ribbons — great for leaves — and portraits — great for construction. One step at a time, and all that.
