Hi Denise- the flower colors are wonderful! Doing full face views of flowers can be tricky not to mention the white aspect. The flower is missing some form and definition because it needs some shadows, etc. This view does not allow you to capture all those amazing details you illustrated in the purple hellebore. I think of hellebore petals as commonly having a cup like effect. Without the toning, that does not come across here. Also, while new emerging leaves can be small, most hellebore leaves are sizable and many have great mottled designs on them. You might consider adding a stem with leaves (or a large leaf) to go behind the flower. Having leaves behind a white flower are a great way of enhancing the flower view especially when it is a white or light colored flower on white paper.
