Hi Denise- the colors of the flower and leaves are lovely! Also a really nice job on the petal patterning! There are a couple of things to consider. In the future really examine the subject. I know the bottom leaf on the left was as you show it, but it would look better if it went out to the left rather than straight up into the leaf above it. Maybe a different view would have been better or you could have fudged the position of that leaf. I would add more shades of dark toning in the “V” areas where petals meet, where petals overlap and areas I would expect the center part of the flower to cast shadows on the petals. This will as add some needed definition and form. Something like magenta would be a color I might try to do that. You are almost there! Great job!
