I need some help to add depth to the flower. Having trouble deciding how to add some shadow which I think it needs.

Beautiful, delicate petals, Dora! Yes, you want some shadow in there, but only very slightly, so you don’t darken the entire thing, which is reading so nice and delicate now. So yes, go in there with a very sharp dark sepia or black verithin and work in a few sensitive lines in a couple of places, and that might do it. Practice with some tracing paper first; that way you can try a few things out without drawing directly on your piece. You could also put a little dark sepia in that spot where the petals overlap the stem on the flower on the right. Great job!
Thanks so much for your advice Vern. Was hoping to do a nice job on this one and gifting it to my friends who will be gifting me so many of their beautiful flowers to draw. Honestly their garden is like the botanical gardens.
