Great job Dora! I was comparing the first posting of your hibiscus and this one. It is always amazing for me to see how just working on a couple of small details can really make a big difference. For composition sake I could see something in the bottom right. Maybe add a detail or even just extend the stem (of the open flower) down a little. Did you have any plans for that space?
That would be great too! Vern gave us a lettering lesson at the workshop and she is a master at it! She will look on line for fonts that she likes and then works it out on tracing paper. Then she transfers it to her drawing using a light box (use whatever method you prefer to transfer). She prefers to do it in graphite pencil as it is not as bold as using dark sepia, etc.. You can check out some of her lettering on her drawings she has posted to the ArtFeed.

Hi Doug, I did think myself something there would be nice. I was wondering whether to write the botanical name of the plant there somehow?
