Gorgeous! It looks like you could pick the ginkgo leaf up off the page! As I mentioned on the previous post, the cast shadows are too dark. Besides their shapes not being what I would expect. Personally I don’t know that you need cast shadows for this drawing. Because the shadows are dark, they create a lot of contrast and detract from the beautiful leaves. I am wondering if you are doing your artwork at night. I used to have to draw at night while I was still working and I eventually realized that the shadows I saw were much darker at night with the lighting I had available and I had to tone them down considerably. I thought I would mention it, just in case!
