Hi Douglass – this is an interesting subject with nice movement. You could use more toning on the undersides of some of the leaves. The bottom leaf on the left for example. I am confused by how the leaves are attached and it would be helpful if you could submit a photo.

Nice curling and crinkling of these leaves, Douglass! I agree with Doug; I would love to see a photo of how the secondary leaf parts attach to the central part. Nice work here; love that neutral color.
Hi Douglass- thanks for sending the photo! When I look at it I see the veins on the off shoots continue onto the vein of the primary stalk, which is what I would expect, but don’t see on your drawing. I think changing that where applicable would eliminate the confusion I had.
