Hi Douglass, Always good to do practice pages. Take notes! It helps you remember what you are learning. Since it is a practice page you can put your notes right on the page.

From Douglass: (just re-posting so that it’s not in the title of the image) challenging . I started with Kraft paper but switched to white paper the color is white with a bit of green and yellow. It’s a practice page . The one foreshortened petal will get done after the “roll” class.

Douglass, I think that this is a great study, and you’re really doing a nice job capturing the structure of these flowers. To keep that color subtle, I would try less green/yellow and leave us some more white space. You could try using a bit of warm gray in the shading of the white parts, and then just little hints of green here and there–in fact, it might be worth practicing some subtle watercolor washes in green to try to keep things lighter?
