I worked a little more on the leaves. I did it only using just colored pencils. In the end I used the ivory pencil for burnishing, but I am a little bit hesitant about it. I feel I loose the texture of the pencil stroke – which I like so much – as it washes the colors. Maybe I just have to get used to it. View
Edith, the veining and toning are very subtle and beautiful. Because of the way you toned around the secondary veins and treated the midvein differently, I can easily see a clear distinction between the front and the back of the leaf. Well done.
