Lovely contour lines in the petals, Eileen! I think with a little more work, like Wendy is saying, you could even this out a bit. I love the sheath and the root here! Nice work.
I started with purple violet watercolor then the same in pencil and red violet. I also used some dark sepia – I didn’t think I should at first, but couldn’t get the darks. There may be a little magenta there too. I need to start taking notes rather than rely on memory- which doesn’t work!
