This is a great study page of interesting seeds and pods! I would comment on two things. The drumstick tree pod (both interior and exterior views) don’t read as finished as the other subjects. I think they would benefit from a little toning. That would also be my suggestion for the dry pod on the top left. I see detail, but not form and it would help to add dark shading on the right in addition to establishing more of a highlight, which you have done so successfully on the other subjects!

What a fun page, Helene! I love that allamanda seed on the left! Wow. I agree with Doug about the pod on the top left–the details are stunning (embossing?), but the form as a whole could feel more round with a distinct shadow side. Love all the different views of the star-shaped pod on the top! Great work.
just reading yous comments ok . yes i have a bit of a problem with light in my studio and i think this affects my drawing .i understand your point about the lack of real shadows and light wich makes the drawing look unfinished . i must see to this soon . thanks .
