well, I go on with my Jatropha leaves , In this one, I embossed the contour and it¡s surely more artistic composition than a real botanical drawing . Would you call it “naturalist art”? I struggled a lot on shadows
What a nice contrast to the more traditional style of your other Jathropa drawing Helene! The shadows really make it look like the leaf is sitting up off the page. I don’t see a shadow along the right side of the stem where I would expect to see one. Nice job!
