I think I am having a problem with getting things too dark. This is better, but that green tomato was really bright and it got dark quickly. Any suggestions?

Hey Eleanor, If you feel like you’re getting too dark too quickly, try some other grisaille colors and keep your layers really light until you have a good foundation. Toward the end, you can finesse things with some more pressure on the pencil and some well-placed Dark Sepia.
