Hi Georgia, Rooting for roots! Nice composition on this drawing! My eyes go to that union of the above-ground with the below-ground. Then they pleasantly move around, taking in the contrasting elements of the plant. I find myself contemplating form and function. You have also used color masterfully to lead the eye and unify the drawing. I like the way you have used tone in the underground root area. It does really evoke that feeling of the “underground”. And allows you to pop those white roots. Good job!
