This looks like a good start, Helen. A rosebud, I presume? Have you tried drawing one single petal? Sometimes that can help with understanding the shape and behavior of the petals on a rose (or any flower for that matter). I think these petals here could be defined just a bit more. I do love the way you’ve subtly shown the veining at the bottom of the front petal. Very lovely!
