Dog Rose!? What a name! Fun drawing! Nice bright color for a wintry day. The stem is especially well done, with all its jigs and jags. Compositionally I’d like to see something in the bottom right corner. Maybe some descriptive text? You have such lovely lettering, I’d like to see more of it.
Thanks Katy. According to Wikipedia, “Pliny attributed the name dog rose to a belief that the plant’s root could cure the bite of a mad dog.” Yes, that bottom right area needs something but I’m hoping to do the flower/leaves when they appear.
