Hi Ishbel, Nice drawing! I love that you have captured the crepe-like texture of the poppy! The highlights on the bottom left leaf are spot on. I’d like to see more care on the front two leaves. They are highly foreshortened, which makes it more challenging. I want to see them come forward more. Some well placed highlights on the front most petals and darker shadows on the petals as behind where they overlap would help.
