Vern, Thank you. I drew these for a piece in fabric. I had them enlarged 2X and printed on linen, added some other fabric and stitched them. After working with you and Wendy for over a year now I surely hope that I am more aware of values and creating depth. So that was my concern, but you think they look ok with that in mind?

Jeanne, re: values and depth, I think you have shown depth in this series, but I do think that pushing your dark tones just a bit further would make that depth more dramatic. That said, you have shown a change in value in all the proper places (overlaps, etc) and it works well.

Thank you Vern. I find this flower so very interesting and have done a number of drawings of it. I like the idea of adding some drama to this one.
