Welcome to the ArtFeed Mary! Nice job on the sphere! A couple of areas to revisit. The dark shadow shading should come up the fight side higher than you have shown. Also, the cast shadow is in the wrong position. Judging from your highlight, the light is coming from the left (at a 45 degree angle over your left shoulder) so the cast shadow should be starting on the right side of the sphere and angle back at 45 degrees. It does fade as you have done a wonderful job of showing. The location of the reflected light should also move over to the bottom and right side accordingly.
