This is awesome, Jill! You did a great job with your toning–it’s beautiful and dark on the shadow side without getting muddy. And the highlight is excellent! Love the little nub on the left, too! Really great work. Would you consider adding a cross section or a slice?? 🙂
Thank you Vern! I appreciate your positive words! I have not tried drawing a cross section yet and was a bit scared to add it to this composition, in case it didn’t come out as good as the whole lemon. I’ll practice a bit before and consider adding to it
Your lemon is really beautiful. I see a faint circular pattern which seems to add to the realism of the shape of the fruit..
