Hi Zara, nice smooth toning on this pear. The delicate transition to the highlights is beautiful. I’d like to see you include a core shadow and reflective light .If you have Wendy’s The Joy of Botanical Drawing, check out pages 43-45. She has great instruction on these aspects. In general, think about the light source. How is the light landing on the sphere? How is the light blocked by the sphere? How is the light bouncing back from the table and reflecting on the backside of the sphere?
