Thanks Wendy – can you give me an example? I know I seem to get stuck in a pattern – but I am trying to copy what I see. These leaves didn’t have much variation.
Liz, this is so lovely. I think you could achieve some variation in tone on these leaves; I *think* that’s what Wendy was talking about, too. Similar to the poinsettia drawing, some of the leaves can appear lighter overall (especially ones in front of others); just to give the whole branch some depth… ? I love this composition and the cute flowers. Really beautiful work.
