Hi Liz- the rose hips are beautifully rendered. There are a couple of areas I would revisit. There are some sepals that are in the back, but they are lighter than the sepals in the front. I would add more dark toning to the hips to emphasize their form. Lastly, the highlight’s location is throwing me off. It should be located to the left a little rather than being in the middle of the hips.
Yes that meakes sense, although I think in reality the sepals were lighter, but to emphasize them I will make them darker. sometimes we have to draw what we know not what we see. Same with the reflections. Thanks for your comments.
