Good tone bars Marcelle! You could get darker along the edge where the darkest toning is. If the subject is shiny, there would be a lot of contrast between your highlight and the area that surrounds it. If the subject is not shiny, then the areas surrounding it should be much lighter then what you have shown and transition darker as it moves away from the highlight. Nice job.
