You nailed the buckeye color. Would like to know what you used. I did one earlier and ended up using one of the reds. Lovely job of toning ,surface texture and composition.
Hi Patty, if I remember correctly, I used Dark Sepia (of course!), Burnt Sienna, Alizarin Crimson, Cobalt Blue and I think I also used Dark Cadmium Orange and Red Violet.

@marcibarbey, this is so lovely. My favorite part of this is the way you present the contrast between the smooth, shiny nut and the textured, matte outer shell on the left. Really striking and beautiful.
